What spices are in braggot?
Braggot is usually lightly hopped and often contains spices – including cloves, coriander, juniper berries, nutmeg, ginger, mace, pepper, cinnamon or star anise. Smoked malts, barrel-aging and wild yeasts may also be used and alcohol can range from six to thirteen percent ABV.
How long does a braggot take to ferment?
Let ferment for 7 days then add honey to the primary fermenter. Leave the braggot to ferment completely until no visible signs in the airlock for at least 3 days.
