How is heart related to emotions?
Our hearts are innervated, meaning many nerves supply it. Some slow it down; they're activated when we relax or meditate. Others turn on when we're under emotional stress, causing the heart to quicken, ready for fight or flight.
Does the human heart feel emotions?
Feelings have so much to do with the heart, as they do with the brain. It's actually a two-way relationship. Our emotions change the signals the brain sends to the heart and the heart responds to the brain in complex ways.
