What happens if you can't pass AIT?
During that time you can expect tutoring or extra homework to make sure you pass. If that isn't enough and you fail the same section more than once, you may fail your AIT. At that point, the Army is simply going to reclass you into a different MOS. This can take several weeks, or even a couple months.
What happens if you fail Army fitness test?
Soldiers must get at least 60 points on each test event to pass. The maximum is 100 points. Once the scoring begins taking effect, those who fail will be able to retake the test after several months. If they fail twice, they will be discharged from the Army.
